And the thought for the 90 minute workout today was this:
"God, I offer myself to you to build with me and to do with me as you will. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do your will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them maybear witness to those I would help of your power, your love and your way of life. May I do your will always."
Today I am letting go of: total loss of the truck and the concurrent phone calls to the insurance company and the ex, the fact hat my replacement at work started today, that it's time for Jake to have his "pockets picked," tomorrow's job interview, the outcome of any job that I have applied for recently, what will happen at the upcoming Board Meeting for my current company, all money matters...
Just lifting the rug of my mind... sweeping all that under it... laying it flat and walking away. Taking care of the body in which I live. The rest is not for me to solve tonight.
Bedtime now.
TODAY'S WORKOUT - Yoga X
TODAY'S MENU
BREAKFAST - 1/2 grapefruit, 1 cup oatmeal with 1 cup of skim milk, coffee w/ cream
LUNCH - sliced turkey on 12-grain bread, carrots, 1 banana, 8 oz skim milk
SNACK - handful of dried cranberries, handful of almonds
DINNER - 2 Boca Burger patties, handful of baby carrots, 2 tbs hummus, glass of cranberry juice
