Dear Grandmaster Kim,
It has been at least 20 years since we have seen each other, but I think of you and your family often. What you all provided for me for the years that I was your student at Blue Dragon Tae-Kwon Do in Maryland was invaluable. Your impact on my life was profound and wonderful. And while I regret telling you that I never continued with my Tae-Kwon Do training after my teens, I thank you for not only providing me guidance, but also with tools that gave me physical strength, mental stability, and emotional discipline. While I am currently in a different regiment of training today, I still draw on those skills every day. Thank you again, sir, for being my teacher; I have never forgotten your wisdom and your instruction... and I never will.
